Recommending that we stick with 4.01 for now...

Just a followup....

I've decided that given the amount of time allocated for the project ("ASAP"), the fact that we're only going to get a couple 'sample pages', and the fact that we have yet to see any actual code, I'm recommending that we stick with the server's default HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN code for now, and have requested that the designers re-do their initial samples.

I think that there are too many unknowns at this point.

HTML5 is certainly worth my looking into as time permits, but a time-crunch project is probably not the best time!
